Since the fall of 2018, members of the fire department have been trained in teaching caregivers of our community safe installation practices of child safety seats. Caregivers are taught the current best practices of car seat installations and are provided education about the next steps as their child grows.
Financial assistance can be provided for the purchase of car seats by sending email to the WIC program. Appointments can be made any time by calling (906) 863-5511.
