City of Menominee – State Revolving Fund Water & Sewer Utility Project Update

Week of October 17th

The contractor finished fine grading the gravel surfaces in preparation for asphalt; crews continued to place topsoil and landscape where possible; crews started placing asphalt along the roadways throughout the project; crews started to install traffic signs, and crews completed water service replacements at various locations throughout the City.

Week of October 24th

The contractor will finish placing asphalt throughout the project; crews will pave the water service replacement patches throughout the City; crews will finish setting topsoil and final landscape throughout the project; teams will place pavement markings, and crews will continue water service replacements at various locations throughout the City.

PLEASE NOTE

  1. The asphalt paving crew is scheduled to work this Saturday, please continue to park outside the project limits to allow paving operations to continue without restrictions.
  2. Please keep everything off the newly seeded topsoil areas, seedlings are in a vulnerable state as the grass begins to grow.
