City of Menominee – State Revolving Fund Water & Sewer Utility Project Update

Week of June 13^th

The contractor completed water main installation and continued sanitary sewer installation along 15^th Avenue between 15^th Street and 17^th Street; they continued sanitary sewer installation along 17^th Avenue between 16^th Street and 17^th Street, and they replaced several water service laterals along 16^th Avenue between 25^th Street and 26^th Street.

Week of June 20^th  

The contractor will begin hooking up residences to the new water main along 15^th Avenue between 16^th Street and 18^th Street; they will continue storm sewer work along 15^th Avenue between 15^th Street and 18^th Street; they will continue sanitary sewer work along 17^th Avenue between 16^th Street and 18^th Street, and they will continue water service lateral work and place concrete sidewalk at various locations throughout the City.

PLEASE NOTE

For residents living within an active work zone and participating in the City’s bulk pick-up the week of June 20^th, please place your items in the middle of your driveway. This will allow the contractor to complete any grading or underground work that may be necessary to your home.
