Per Public Health Delta & Menominee Counties: The city is hereby ordered to post the Memorial Park Bathing Beach as closed until further notice, due to high levels of E.coli.
PHDM staff will continue to monitor and sample the bathing beach until E.coli levels have fallen to acceptable levels. . PHDM will promptly notify us when acceptable sample results are reported so that normal operations can resume.

The city public works/parks department is in the process of closing and posting the beach as closed. Media outlets have also been notified.
